This unique system consisting of exercises for stretching and strengthening the muscles was developed over 80 years ago by Joseph H. Pilates.
This physical and holistic training method strengthens and forms muscles, improves posture, increases flexibility and balance and harmonises your body and soul. If the senses are optimised to be aware of and coordinate the body, movements can be better controlled. The focus is on activating the core muscles, allowing us to work on the limbs more efficiently, improve posture and bring the body into a harmonious balance. To reach this goal we move slowly and fluidly, breath consciously, concentrate and carry out the movements with precision.
